The slammed '60 Caddy that made our SEMA top ten list popped up on eBay over the weekend. It got bid up to $61,900 with reserve not met before the auction was ended by the seller. Check out the eBay auction for more pics and details!

My buddy Scott at Chrysler called Friday to see if we could add one more car to our booth at the LA Auto Show. I asked Scott if the owner was a CarDomain member. Well, yes, and a SOTW winner as well. So we're stoked to have this awesome 300 in our booth. It features a Xenon Body Kit, 22" USW Forged "Uprise" wheels with Perilli P Zero Nero tires. Power comes from a Mopar 426 Aluminum block. The pic below was taken last week at SEMA. See more on Fatchance's ride page!

Ok, so somehow I missed this insane Mopar in the Source Interlink booth at SEMA. I can't say I like it, exactly, but it is impressive. I think the most controversial thing is the chop--I don't think it was really necessary, and in fact detracts from the car as a whole. I do dig lots of stuff about it--the full tube frame chassis with fully independent suspension, the wheels, the color scheme, the Lenco tranny. Wonder if they started with a "real" Road Runner or if it's "just" a Satellite or Belvedere under all those mods. See all the pics at Speedhunters and let me know what you think.

Yes, these types of lists are pretty darn subjective, but we tried to pick rides that really stood out this year, and that represented the full spectrum. And keep in mind that Jen and I were spread a bit thin this year, so we probably didn't see every ride (I don't know if it would have made the list, but I can't believe I missed this crazy Road Runner in the Source Interlink booth). So here's our list of the top ten rides at SEMA for 2011, in no particular order, though I think the 2 Brothers Custom Trucks 1960 Ford F100 was my favorite (Brian Lohnes at BangShift seems to agree with me), so I'm putting it first. Check out the rest after the jump, and click the links to read the original blog about each ride. If you hate our selections or want to point out any gross omissions, be sure to let us know in the comments!

Ever seen a widebody Ford 500 with a rear-mounted supercharged 5.4 from the new Ford GT? Now you have. The "Ford GT-R" has actually been around for a few years, but was built up again following a nasty trailer rollover en route from Detroit Motorama.  It was created by the students and staff in the Custom Cars and Concepts program at Washtenaw Community College!

SEMA has been a blast this year as always, and that's a wrap for our 2011 coverage. Stay tuned next week as we review our top ten show cars, and let us know your favorites!

This '32 Ford hot rod will be auctioned at Barret-Jackson in January, with all proceeds going to the worthy cause of providing scholarships for the children of killed and wounded American soldiers. Dubbed "Metal of Honor," it has been built entirely with donated parts from the Ford Racing 302 to the Pirelli Tires. The rear decklid has been signed all over by Medal of Honor recipients. What really made it stand out, though, was the focus on small, authentic details. The Medal of Honor symbol is repeated throughout, showing up as wheel center caps, horn button, and hood ornament. The olive-drab Wix oil filter is a cool touch. Antique ammo boxes and surplus rucksacks are used to conceal components like the trunk-mounted battery and the a/c, and I loved how ammo boxes were even cut out and used to make the center console and armrest! More pics below the jump, and watch for it at Barret-Jackson!

Honda's SEMA booth, as always, was slick and well-planned with an emphasis on performance. There was some whimsical stuff like the Blink-182 Civic Si below, but it was also cool to see a lot of Honda Racing material as well. The Mugen CR-Z looked hot, there was a supercharged Accord that was unfortunatley buttoned up by the time I got there, and there was a Neil Tjin Civic as well. But the highlight for me was the bone-stock yellow 1975 CVCC. Honda always pays tribute to their proto-Civics in their SEMA booth, and it's good to see a performance-oriented display that nonetheless acknowledges the sub-100hp econoboxes that started it all. Hit the jump to see the whole booth!

I have a pretty good feeling I know what you guys are going to say about this strange-looking creature from the HD Wheels booth. Scandalously, it's built on a Honda S2000 platform! It's not a kit, but a custom steel-bodied one-off. And call my crazy, but I kind of dig the interior wood accents and black courderoy upholstery: it gives the thing an old-man, tweed-cap vibe that's completly incongruous with what the exterior appearance seems to be going for. Hit the jump if you dare.

What do you do if you wanna beat around in an old '50's GM but you're accustomed to the Euro-refined feel of your Mercedes G55 SUV? One option might be to wreck the G55, then have Troy Trepanier build you a custom 1954 Buick cruiser around the SUV's salvaged drivetrain. Troy is the same guy who built the incredible Blowfish, and as car-over-truck-drivetrain builds at this year's SEMA show go, the Buick is arguably a little classier than that AWD Camaro you guys loved so much. But the downfall of the Buick, which gets points for its perfect stance, custom Art Morrison chassis, and chocolately two-tone BASF paint job, is that that drivetrain has been adapted so as to power only the rear wheels. More pics below the jump!
