Today's Photo of the Day comes from Truck Trend's Facebook Page. What do you guys think of the 2014 Jeep Cherokee?

MotorTrend's Roadkill web series recently gave a huge high-five to car enthusiasts. The hosts of the show, David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan, aren't shy about their dislike for the Toyota Prius and let the vehicle show it's toughness. If you're like me, you've imagined a match up like this for a very long time. More »

Well, this is just awkward. What are some of the most unusual mods you’ve ever seen on a car?

I love E-bay, every week it just delivers the goods with strange and wacky vehicles. Case in point is this Rat Rod that is currently listed. The motor you see in the rear is fully functional. That's right: we finally have a truck with easy access to the motor. I have never really been into Rat Rods, but I like this because it is different. It's not the first rear engined truck that I have seen, but it is the first Rat Rod of its type that I have come across. Check out the listing for more pics and information.

So what do you think? Is this cool or isn't it?

Last weekend, we arrived late to a car show in Fitchburg MA... just in time to see all the cool cars driving away!  Well, this truck was one of those leaving.  It was very loud, and very hard to miss!  Not surprisingly, it ended up being driven away on a trailer.

I didn't get to see how the driver actually got INTO the thing.  I am still wondering...

Jeep has announced that in 2016 Wrangler fans will finally get their wish - a stock pickup truck. This new compact truck could upset the Toyota Tacoma dominance of the compact market. The question is, will it sell?

It is certainly cool looking. According to Tacomahq.com, Jeep President Mike Manley at the Geneva Motor Show confirmed the truck will be built.

With Chrysler seemingly offering everything in diesel nowadays, the odds are high this will be a diesel truck. Is America ready for a diesel compact truck from Jeep? Time will tell.

Is this a shindig, or a hootenanny? Whatever it is, it involves drunken country folks at a bar in semi-rural Orlando called Cowboys. This place lives up to its name too! What is unique about this horse drawn tavern turned drunken barn dance is that it features a truck pull stadium in the parking lot complete with complimentary spittoons. Grab a few beers, blow up your pumpkin, catch your rig on fire, and then wake up the next morning with a hungover curiosity as to why your C/K 1500 smells like the Copenhagen Fire of 1728. Yep, that's one hell of a Friday night!

Sometimes you see a vehicle on the road that is fascinating, simply by virtue of the fact that it's still running.  Case in point, this Chevy/GMC pickup that my boyfriend and I spotted this past weekend. Hit the jump to see more...

Where do you go when you want to check out wild rides, tough cars, cool cruisers and customized trucks while checking out a burnout competition supported by a rock band as background music? You can’t go wrong with the American and British MCC Bike, Car and Truck Show! This event has everything going for it in its new location at the spacious Calder Park Thunderdome. Bikes lined up for what seemed like an endless line of chrome, leather and steel while supported by a wide array of hot rods, classic, custom and street/strip cars. A small but impressive gathering of custom trucks weren’t going to be outshone either! See more pics of this event after the jump, and even more can be seen at Caprice Photography Automotive Art.
