We could think of a few better things to do with a pair of 911s. But whatever. Video below the jump.

Having hookups anywhere in the automotive industry is never a bad thing, especially if your name is Jay Leno. Here’s a guy that not only has some of the most collectable cars in the universe, but also has a direct line to just about every manufacturer out there. In this episode of Jay Leno’s Garage, General Motors’ current Vice President of Global Design, Ed Welburn stops by with none other than the new 2014 Chevrolet Corvette. Check it out after the jump.

A friend of mine wants one of these real bad. I'm not sure she realizes what she's getting into--prices for these old Syncro vans in this kind of condition are out of sight! Still, I definitely understand the call of the wild, and sleeping in your vehicle is always a million times better than sleeping on the ground in a damp, saggy tent. Check out this cool Westfalia on eBay. And how about you: what's your ideal camping vehicle?

W Motors, a car manufacturer in the Middle East, has released their take on the supercar. The LykanHyperSport will premiere at the Qatar Motor Show on January 29th.

What makes this car worth $3.4M? How about a set of diamond-encrusted LED taillights and suicide doors? The Lykan has a mid mounted, twin turbocharged flat six pumping out 750 horsepower and 737 pound feet of torque, giving it a 62 mph time of 2.8 seconds. Top speed is 239 miles per hour, making it one of the fastest vehicles on the planet.

Also comes with a Special Edition Cyrus Klepcys watch worth $200,000. Oh, boy...

So this is the throttle body I bought for my car. It is 53mm and it's getting port and polished soon up to 60mm. I'm going to probably paint it black and have the spring red just so it looks good under the hood.

Recently I wrote about the spectacular footage of Ari Vatanen’s Pikes Peak victory in 1988. This got me thinking of great racing footage from my part of the world. We have had some great races in Australia, and some of the best moments have taken place at the Mt Panorama race track in Bathurst. This track is steeped in history; it all began with the Australian Grand Prix in 1938. However, it is the Hardie Ferodo 1000 race in 1977 that sticks in my mind, a showdown between old rivals Holden and Ford. Ford won on the day but it was they way that they did it that is burned into the psyche of Australian motorsports history. Check it out below the jump!

And yes, if you are wondering, these are the same style Ford Falcon that was featured in the Mad Max films.

This article is about a great and often forgotten movie car. The movie is Harold and Maude, a 1971 black comedy and one of my favourite movies - it's a one off, original and quirky.

Harold is a young man obsessed with death and constantly pulls off fake suicide attempts to upset his mother. He comes from an extremely wealthy background and his pushy mother persistently tries to persuade him to find a job and girlfriend - she even sets up interviews to whittle down the best girl.

Harold’s favourite pastime is attending funerals, and this is where he meets Maude, an elderly eccentric lady with the same curiosities. Despite his mother’s best efforts to find Harold a girlfriend, he forms an unusual relationship with Maude, who becomes his girlfriend.

This is where the great E-type Jaguar comes in. Being a fan of funerals, Harold initially buys an old 59 Cadillac Superior hearse as his daily driver.
