The Las Vegas Convention Center finally got new carpet. It used to be a barfy puple swirlish thing. Now it's... dunno. So does the Camaro match? Or clash? More pics after the jump!

Sprint Cup chew chief/owner/broadcaster Ray Evernham built this '64 Plymouth on a modern NASCAR superspeedway chassis, complete with a Dodge Racing 358 V8 with the new NASCAR EFI. It'll be sold at Barrett-Jackson in Scottsdale early next year, which means someone'll get to drive around in a thoroughly modernized street-legal Sprint Cup car in beautiful satin-red classic Mopar cladding. Check out my full write-up and pics of the unveil at Hot Rod!

This year all the classic Mopar muscle was parked out in the blazing Nevada sun. Check 'em out after the jump!

Didn't they have a 32" inch wheel last year? Maybe it wasn't purple. In any case, there seemed to be more emphasis on their "executive vehicles" this year. Check out the bulletproof door! Pics after the jump!

Photographing all the cars at SEMA is a huge job, especially once they open the doors and let all the riff-raff in.  Thankfully, Jesse and Brandon from Hot Rod were nice enough to go shoot a few pics in Central Hall while we battled the crowds in North. See them all in the gallery!

The PPG booth has a cool Western theme this year, with a '53 Chevy Pickup, a '54 Chevy 3100 and a '56 Ranch Wagon. More pics after the jump!

This thing stopped me in my tracks. It's so... I don't know. Padded vinyl? More pics after the jump!

You know, unless I'm forgetting something obvious, I don't think I've ever run across a CRX at SEMA. But here was this CRX Si hiding near the back of the strangely underpopulated Wheel and Tire hall. Hit the jump for engine bay and wheels!

Tonight I shot the Wheel and Tire hall. And you know what that means: bling. Click through to the gallery to check out a couple hundred over-the-top rides from the ground floor of South Hall!

I caught up with Topo over at the DUB booth. He brought a ton of cars again this year, including the two Mercedes and a white Camaro with a 11 inch lip. More pics from the DUB booth after the jump!
