Today's pic is from Tolga’s BMW 5 Series ride page! There were a ton of beautiful outdoor glamor shots, but I felt that this slightly gritty garage pic was the winner.

After almost thirty years in the United States, HKS has decided to transfer all operations to Japan by this summer. The company cited a shrinking aftermarket, poor economy, weak US dollar and the Japan earthquake as key drivers for this decision. HKS parts will still be available in the United States, but HKS USA will be no more. HKS is a very popular brand on CarDomain--we have over 15,000 rides on our site with HKS parts installed. We wish them the best as they centralize their operations. Via Jalopnik

In this spirited Z06 vs. GT-R romp, the one note of discord is that Vader appears to be in the wrong car. Woudn't a GT-R make a little more sense for an evil and exiled Jedi? You know, sinister but ultimately ineffectual? Okay, maybe not in red. Hit the jump to watch the video.

About an hour ago I finished watching Fast Five, the fifth installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise. I liked it, but I left the theater thinking, "was that really a car movie?" Don't get me wrong, it has numerous vehicles of many types: a Lexus LFA, a 1970 Challenger, a 1972 Skyline, a Ford GT40, and even a Pantera to name a few. But the action of the film, unlike the others, is more action driven in the way of foot chases, gun fights and just good old fashioned fight scenes. A highlight of the film is a fight between Vin Diesel's Dominic Toretto and Dwayne Johnson's Hobbs. And there are more cars, especially cop cars, destroyed in the finale of the film than I have seen in a while--think Blues Brothers. But still, is it a car movie? Continue reading...

Ford randomly selected an EcoBoost engine, ran it the equivalent of 150,000 miles on the dyno, and then put that same engine through five distinct torture tests in a variety of different vehicles. Do you think it's just a bunch of marketing BS, or is this a real test? Watch!

Our thoughts are with everyone who got caught up in the series of tornadoes that rampaged through the South during the past few days. I'm a Californian who has been through a few earthquakes, including the Loma Prieta quake in 1989. But having lived in Iowa for two years, I can say that there is nothing quite as chilling as a tornado. I've spent a fair amount of time crouched in a cellar listening to the radio, and have witnessed firsthand the destruction they can bring. So here's to the guy who managed to drive his Mustang out of the Tuscaloosa rubble. Hope everyone can get their lives, towns and rides rebuilt soon. Video after the jump. Via WFAA.com

Talk about a flashy Camaro--literally! Vinyl wraps have been all the rage in the aftermarket, allowing car owners to change up their car’s color completely and an unlimited number of times, but also in a way that is 100% reversible.

We’ve already seen some of our own site members do some creative color overhaul on their Camaros, but none as radical as this chrome Camaro, by a Czech company called Tintek.

Tintek says the Camaro is the first chrome application of this kind in the Czech Republic, as the effect is not obtained by painting the car, but by applying a special 3-D foil over the original paintwork. They also offer the chrome effect in gold, black, green, blue, orange, red and violet. Gah! Video after the jump!

There are two new Aventador videos set in and around Rome. The Colosseum, Vatican, Spanish Steps, Pantheon--they're all here, with silver and red bulls screaming by. Next, watch them charge through the Italian countryside!
