Okay, we’ve all seen it. Lamborghini revealed their Egoista Concept car on May 12th. The vehicle is getting a lot of attention from fans and foes. What do YOU think of it?

Who would have guessed? If you see a make/model that got 5 stars from a well-established Automaker, wouldn't you assume if you bought that same car elsewhere overseas, you would get one similarly as safe?
It would seem to be common sense, but so much for all of that. This is the Real World and unfortunately, apparently what is built and tested here can be something completely deficient elsewhere.

Brazil has FOUR TIMES the fatality rate for vehicular crashes, and while the that trend in the U.S. has been declining, over there it's rising.
Wherever you go, people are people. Parents bringing home that new Grocery Getter deserve to buy something their family won't die in... and for Brazilians, it looks like improvements won't be coming until 2015, also until they ditch their death traps, which in terms of family incomes and economics... could push their move to safety or even survivability back even further... Brazil doesn't have an established equivalent to the NHTSA for evaluating new or existing models... so why for the sake of Humanity don't these cars conform to IIHS standards at least? If a model has been tested in one country that has such regulations, why at least not market the same model elsewhere where no such regulations exist? Via Yahoo.
A group of automotive enthusiasts under the name Team Galag made their dream car pop right out of the big screen… for a cool $1.6 million. Batman’s Tumbler from the Christopher Nolan movie series was built into a road legal, 2.5 ton monster and will be entered in the Gumball 3000 rally that takes place later this month. Via Yahoo.
