its hard to tell whats even going on there... is the orange not uniform across the lower half? i cant tell if those are glares or silver spots. and it looks like its all clear coated...so maybe they wanted it like that?... im not sure

No telling. With all the stupid shit I see these days, like lifted cars with over size wheels, skin tight guy pants, Justin Bieber. This could possibly be intentional.

I think it is a candy job gone wrong. You paint a silver (or white or just about any other color) base coat and then cover it with a translucent but colored candy top coat to give it depth with some reflection from the silver. Candy paint jobs need to be sprayed very uniformly or they will look blotchy; or in this case have bare silver spots with no candy top coat.

Yea, I'm seeing that now. Sprayed over oem paint with no prep probably even left the wax on.

That is in Naperville, Illinois. I see it all the time. I pointed it out to my girlfriend before and have taken a few pictures of it. Sometimes we see it while we are driving and she, (let me reiterate that SHE) cringes and goes, "they seriously need to do something about that paint. It looks shitty." I don't know what the owner was going for, but it's pretty noticeable.

I think it looks cool.

It's too hard to tell from that far away, but it's probably got the texture of an orange peel on the surface...got some huge tips coming outta the back too.
