By: Master_Yogi_Bear 1/29/2012 12:17 PM People with windbreakers and Flock of seagulls haircuts would say that's tacky |

By: SouthernGuy8503 1/29/2012 4:02 PM Without the paintjob it would be a nice Mustang. The paint looks like it was supposed to go on a Mexican lowrider. Now it just needs the fuzzy dice in the mirror and fuzzy steering wheel cover. |

By: GetTheClicker 1/29/2012 6:36 PM I'll have some of what the paint shop was having. Better make that 2. |

By: lasttogo2 1/29/2012 8:01 PM poor car is behind the times. 20 years ago that paint job would be considered "fly" |

By: GTwildfire 1/29/2012 8:06 PM Someone gotta have at least something positive to say here. Someone's passion is behind this work, as is her personal preference. The paint scheme is dated and yeah I guess it doesn't have wide appeal but I grew up when this was popular and for this style it's a creative use of some of the car's body lines combined with geometrics. Orange is always a bold choice that often invokes haters. Pea green more or less has the same effect but it looks like quality work was done and I don't doubt this ride gets appreciation from some folks. Princess, these boards can be unforgiving sometimes, don't take it to heart. There are lots of decent folks as well as decent rides on CarDomain, Autoholics and Streetfire.net. |

By: Idefix 1/29/2012 8:32 PM ^^ Well said, and for all intents and purposes, a car is built to make the owner feel happy and/or proud of it (with the usual attachment that comes with modding it yourself). Everything else is just a bonus afterwards, positive or negative. If everybody always did the same things, the world would never get crazy ideas to evolve. Granted that's on a larger scale, but everything is relative in this world. |

By: TasakiDog 1/30/2012 12:15 AM Looks pretty bad to me. The color scheme is completely off |
|
|
By: Master_Yogi_Bear 1/30/2012 4:23 AM and that random orange stripe running perpendicular down the side looks like she forgot to take the painters tape off |

|
By: timpalass 1/30/2012 5:11 AM Not a paint job for a daily driver. I could see it on a full out drag car though. |

|
By: usnrocker 1/30/2012 7:53 AM its unique... cant really hate on it because its well done and its kinda cool |

By: DaveyBoyo 1/30/2012 8:07 AM I don't care how much 'passion' and 'thought' went into that. It's utterly horrid. |

By: torino_man 1/30/2012 12:38 PM i agree with timpalass. This is the style of paint that you think of for a drag car. It is starting to grow on me though. That's the "jellybean" style for the mustangs and they are a little harder to do custom designs on because of theire smoother shape. You usually only see a two-tone job at most. |

By: Jperry3 1/30/2012 7:27 PM I grew up when this was the style and even then I was trying to think outside of the box. I didn't really like this style then, and I definitely don't really like it now. As a custom painter, I understand the passion and thought that went into this paint job, but damn; they couldn't do better. Maybe they should have thought about it a little longer. I am sorry for being so negative... |

By: Donology 1/30/2012 9:45 PM Not my style, but If she likes it..... Hope she enjoys it for years to come. But one question, why is she so mad???? |

By: mopar_pheen 2/1/2012 4:39 AM See this is why there should be Fashion Police for cars, this should never be allowed on public streets, just as 400 pound people should not be allowed to wear spandex. |

By: subcero 2/1/2012 8:21 PM I agree with some of you guys who said it looks like a paint job that yo uncle put on a 1970s or 1980's drag car. I hate going to the track and seeing those paint jobs but paint jobs don't matter when you running 9's in a qtr lol. In this case, I am not trying to be mean to Princess but I just don't care too much for the paint and I will leave it at that. Besides that, its still a nice mustang. |

|
By: BaddestBitch1 2/3/2012 8:43 AM I think it also looks tacky and I would have done something else in place of what she chose. However, the quality of the paintjob doesn't look bad. To each their own. :) |
