If you ever visit Miami, don't be surprised if you get bumped while in traffic. Known as "The Miami Bump", if you don't pull close enough to the car in front of you the blockhead behind you will give you a little bumper love. This actually happened to us while filming a POV test drive video for Scorpion Motorsports. Even though we were in a highly exotic and priceless concept vehicle, we still got the bump. What would you do if some cretin in a van gave a little love tap to your upscale conveyance? Comment below!

Looks more to me like he wasn't paying attention, I find it hard to believe that you get bumped for not tailgating whoever is in front of you.

happens all the time. This crap started in the carribean islands and then the people that migrate to Miami bring it with them. I was in the Bahamas once and the taxi driver started doing it. We looked at him like wtf and he called it the Bahamas bump lol.

So you get bumped in a "highly exotic and priceless" vehicle and all you do is throw up a hand and say wtf? I would have been in his face in .0002354 seconds, but then again Florida (the dong of america) has a lot of crappy people. You can tell by this video and every other headline in the news dealing with crime or miniature donkey banging. So i guess im not really surprised that this is considered normal behavior there.

"911 whats your emergency?" Yes there's ABOUT to be a murder so you may want to get the police and EMS rolling now to save time.

I spend time in Miami on a regular basis (work) and drive all over the area from Ft. Lauderdale to Aventura to Cutler Ridge to Dadeland and this has never happened to me. I would not take it well and would depart my vehicle to sort it out. Mbeezy: Spoken like a person who's never set foot in the state. You have the right to you opinion and I'm not the least bit offended, your comments are pretty funny even. But caution to anyone that uses the internet and our beloved American media to decide what's "normal" somewhere you have not spent time deciding for yourself. Cheers.

I don't think that was a bump. Dude wasn't paying attention and didn't see you car (All 6 inches off the ground of it). Maybe you should eat his face off? http://gifs.gifbin.com/florida.gif

Were you seriously driving around with that camera in front of your face?

That's when I pull up a little more, stop, throw it reverse and back into the stupid-ass...but then again, if this is migratory behavior, as suggested in previous posts, I guess there's nothing but lack-luster cars in those island countries so no one cares either way...which come to think of it, I visited Jamaica whildst on a cruise and didn't see anything worth "babying" you could say...

Get out of your car and approach the vehicle behind and the driver will feel threatened and have every right to open fire on your ass.

74Furyous is right. Castle doctrine is extended to the person in the state of Florida. It keeps people from being assholes here. If we didn't have it, this state would suck. I live in florida and love the shoot first, ask later law. It keeps the state civil. Doesn't work everywhere, but in Florida it works. Just take a look at the crime rate since they enacted the law, it dropped like a brick. Be nice or get shot. :D

Does this car have exposed tires in the back? Looks like the van aimed for the rubber, no damage done, no reason to get out and get shot.

Well I live in Flint Michigan...always in the top 5 cities in murders in the U.S.(Detroit and Saginaw are 2 of the 5) and that number would definitely go up if people started bumping into cars like that.

Really!? An exotic/priceless 3-wheeler. Wow. Quite ridiculous vehicle in my opinion. That being said, I would still be pissed.

What exact did that prove to bump him? There was 1/2 car length between him and the car in front of him in tight traffic. Where I come from that's called safe driving. BTW, You look like an idiot with a camera on your nose. lol

So what was the purpose of watching a guy with a go pro strapped to his face in traffic not even moving? So dumb

74Furyous and subaru-offroad, i guess yall havent heard of treyvon martin? The castle law isnt that simple so the argument of "he was approaching and i felt scared" dosent exactly apply especially if there is no visible weapon. we have the same laws here in Tx.

I kinda have a problem with that application of the castle doctrine, too. By that logic, you're allowed to deliberately ram someone else's vehicle in traffic, and if they dare to object, you can kill them. Really? That's the standard for civilized behavior in modern 21st-century society? Sounds more like the behavior of someone who's either off their meds or needs to change their dosage.
