I don't know why you said "imagine that" with a Vette owner. I've seen people do a lot worse in cars worth a lot more and also worth a very small fraction of the Vette. Also more Vette drivers take it easy on them than the ones that beat the hell out of them. At least he knew to keep it floored to spin it around instead of letting off and try to save it which probably would have hit something. It's a bad ass Vette and it sounds great. Any car guy that likes performance has done stupid stuff trying to show off or just to have fun.

agreed. however, most people have dont go out and buy a 400 or more hp car and try to show off. most stupid stuff is done when people are young, inexperienced, and in relatively less powerful cars. if im gunna drop big money on a powerful car, im gunna make sure i know how to handle it before i drive like an asshole

Ya I know. Common sense tells you that if you haven't dealt with that much HP then you slowly work your way up. Imagine if someone went from lets say a stock Honda Civic and then got a Camaro ZL1 or Mustang GT500. That person would have to get used to the power and being RWD. But of course I have no problem admitting when I was younger (27 now) I used to do stupid stuff and all I've ever had were full size trucks. So I'm actually glad I haven't got a muscle/pony car back then because if I did I would have gotten a lot of tickets and/or wrecked it I'm sure.

Meanwhile, across the street at the Honda dealership, they're like "Wow, and Honda drivers have a bad rep?"

^^ LOL The price of a car, does not improve the brains of the drivers. That said, that was fine - until he did a 360 in front of the semi...

boat - Only if you were racing and you meant for it to hook up, not a fail if you meant to do a burnout.

Why is it when these guys buy cars they always feel the need to prove themselves? Where is the maturity, class, consideration and fear go when you sit in a car with a hell of a lot of hp to handle. The dude almost got into a head on collision vs a 18 wheeler. Smh!!!
