I'm more interested in the quality of the interior from GM on a 70kish ride.

Is it just me or do I see hints of GTR style on this Vette? I saw a picture of the concept art and it looked like the baby of a ZL1 and a GTR.

drbos; lol. Im sure its got no brain.. lol again. The corvette is built for people who know how to drive. Atleast vettes made since '98 that is. barbie vets dont count... Most people "that know how to drive" dont want electronic traction control, and stability control, and a bunch of cheater features for people who dont understand to drive. Its a drivers car. This saves the end user money paying for 30k dollars in electronics they dont need as well as the headaches and costs when that stuff breaks. You honestly think the hundreds of people that have to come together to build this car dont think about this stuff..? Yet you are the end all for opinions on how chevy should make their car? Mind you, many of those hundreds of people are highly educated and MUCH smarter than you and I... Think before you post something stupid

Given the renderings on Motor Trend, still think it looks like crap.......Probably the same cheap, uninspiring interior that usually comes in a Vette as well........Not impressive at all......Yawn....

The Corvette remains a retired senior's sports car.......Needs to grow some balls........The 2013 Shelby GT500 offers way more performance, features, and better interior for the buck......much more aggressive looking! Even the Camaro ZL1 has more stones than the C7.......

Flores, the problem with your uninformed statement is that neither of the cars you named will outperform a Z06 or ZR1 on a track. A muscle car is NOT a sports car. Come back with something more intelligent and we might pay attention...

I bet it will still be old design elements and boring lines like the vettes have all had for the last 30 years.
Actually I don't mean any of that, I hope it will be cool looking, but I know nobody will read this far! LOL

@asb2106, brother don't hate on me... blame the "come together peoples" who build this car on a coffee break.

Im with makstone and asb2106 on this one. The more you know about a car, what its limits are, what its capable of, and know how to handle it, the less ecm's and pcm's and bcm's you need. Sure fuel injection is nice but anything beyond that is an unnecessary evil that i would prefer not to deal with. And for drbos i guarantee that "brainless corvette" has 6 times the technology your imported, boring front wheel drive four cylinder has so until you get a real car dont say stupid things- stupid irritates me. Now im gonna go take a coffee break and think of the next vette. :)

Seriously, The Corvette is and remains an AMERICAN icon. GM. engineers continue to create a world class competative car while being squeezed by accountants. The track records state the capabilities. Years back the considerably more expensive Porsche was set back a class because it could not run with the Vettes and Vipers. The Ause. GTO was tough competition for the Porsche. Now big fat Camaros run the Porsches down. The amount of time and money invested into the GT-R program should make that car untouchable, but it's not. Put a $200,000 price tag on a Vette and turn it into an exotic. No, it's an everyday American cruiser from the Chevrolet division...,that will out run cars more than twice its cost or price tag. A new Vette, COOL!
