I think the problem may be that he's become jaded after driving nothing but supercars that cost more than the average home. My point is furthur proven by the fact that he liked the 1st generation car. That's because it was over 20 years ago and he was simply attracted to what the car had to offer, not having been exposed to todays crazy good exotics. Still a chick car though.

Anyone who calls the first gen Miata a "chick car" has never driven one at the limit. It's anything but cute and bubbly when you are throttle steering through an apex, but I guess the muscle car guys don't know much about that. :)

In race trim, the Miatas are bad ass. From the factory, they're chick cars. That's the way I see it.
