I'm glad to see it was saved from the crusher. It is much better than many of the customs I have seen, it is quite unusual and someone put a lot of work into it, no matter who it was.

If there's one thing I've learned from being on CarDomain for 6 years, it's that some people have very... unique tastes. This kind of craziness was popular in the 70s and 80s. Imagine what some of our cars will look like to people in 50 years.

So im 95% asleep and mostly asleep but Take away the side reflectors and theres something I like about it. Its kind of like how a tuna and cheetos sandwich seems good when youre high. I feel like this whole idea was like the tuna cheetos sandwich, he thought it'd be great, it turned out horrible and he just grinned and bore it

If they ever do another Dukes of Hazzard this would be Boss Hogs car. Exactly, they will never do another Dukes of Hazzard nor should the car exist.

I'm going to assume the bench seat up front didn't go as planned due to overheating issues. And why would you go through all this work and leave some crappy looking wheels on it? It is ugly to me, but if you pull out the nose a bit and put on better wheels and it would have more class. I also would probably move the inner section of the headlights a little more forward too, but at least the work done to it looks professional

Kinda has a "Christine" look to it. Lots of work was done here, and not all of it was a waste. A better choice of wheels / tires and a more exotic color and this may have turned out differently. This appears to have started out as a 1973 Deville. I'm glad the guy saved it from the crusher.

honestly, i dont like it, but it looks no different then any other car in the "space ship" era. so. hard to say its bad. for somebody that likes that kind of look, theyd probably love this work.

I have to say that car looks better than the one where a few months ago you had the one where a person put the international truck cab in a 90's Gran Am body. That was hideous.
This one has some character. Some being ugly and other looking unique. It looks like it would be an amphibious car at the from and the fins look like the aerlions from a plane. To me it is a tastful attempt at someone dream car. It is a hate and like car. It was worth saving. It will be a tlak at shows. But not an everyday driver. It has things to imspire others to add to their projects. It is a idea inspiring car.
But granted not to everyones liking or tastes.

The way it was done (double side-marker lights, for example) kind of reminds me of the Family Truckster from National Lampoon's Vacation.

Awful!!! Yes, people did crazy things to Cadillacs back in the day including GM. No, no one ever should have including GM lol. As a Cadi owner this is highly disappointing. Cadillacs have style, class and timeless looks, but I think they were excessive enough in the big car era without adding 3 feet to the nose. Oh and rangerXT91_05.....those are AutoZone hubcaps! Lol even worse! The sad part is someone put a lot of work into this, look at that windshield

I think it would look better painted Mopar Plum crazy purple, with some orange or gold flame licks running down the sides of the car. It would make a neat "Batmobile"type car too.

Whatever it is, its got some neat ideas, overall I don't like it. It was a worthwile exercise, and one thing custom cars makes me appreciate is the designers of production cars. I often think I could do better but then you see what others have tried....

Not my taste, but at least it wasn't crushed. It's extremely dated, you would need to wear a butterfly collar and plaid slacks to drive it. Probably take more money that it's worth to restore it back to original condition.
