Ok, so somehow I missed this insane Mopar in the Source Interlink booth at SEMA. I can't say I like it, exactly, but it is impressive. I think the most controversial thing is the chop--I don't think it was really necessary, and in fact detracts from the car as a whole. I do dig lots of stuff about it--the full tube frame chassis with fully independent suspension, the wheels, the color scheme, the Lenco tranny. Wonder if they started with a "real" Road Runner or if it's "just" a Satellite or Belvedere under all those mods. See all the pics at Speedhunters and let me know what you think.

This car was featured, while still in the build stage, in MCG April 2011. It started out as a "real" 69 Road Runner. The roof was spliced together with a 65 Impala roof. The front grille is all one piece, made from a chunk of Billet aluminum. Built by Spitzer Concepts.

I guess I need to re-up with MCG

This car would make a larger impact on more poeple "IF" ..If I've said it once I'll say it a thousand times more, "The wheels make a car." I think this car is very cool. From the concept to it's stance to the paint however those wheels DO NOTHING for it! Leaves it all flat. Just a bad chice in wheels thats all.

I have to agree with Ironmatt to a certain extent about the wheels. They do not really go well with the lines of the vehicle. A slightly smaller, and if they could change the front offset would help tremendously. Other than that; this car is beautiful.
