I have a pretty good feeling I know what you guys are going to say about this strange-looking creature from the HD Wheels booth. Scandalously, it's built on a Honda S2000 platform! It's not a kit, but a custom steel-bodied one-off. And call my crazy, but I kind of dig the interior wood accents and black courderoy upholstery: it gives the thing an old-man, tweed-cap vibe that's completly incongruous with what the exterior appearance seems to be going for. Hit the jump if you dare.

i agree with you on the interior, i just don't like changing cars' appearance THIS much. but i will say the rear looks good. front looks cheap.

i saw this car there, it just doesnt work. that aston martin wannabe front end looks horrible, and if you look in the front picture you can see its not even symmetrical along the top of the grille. and its not just the angle, its like that in person too.

Had they kept the proportions of the panels small like the s2k then it would look good, but this bloated version just looks odd

Would definitely rather have an s2000. Especially if I could put the money wasted on this thing into the s2000

i dont know... it looks... big... too big. I understand that they were going for a classic british race car with it... but those cars were tiny.. and this is huge... and i agree with TDWPgtp, the front end looks lopsided.

I like it... Kinda looks like a pissed off Large Mouth Bass from the front end picture.

I think a bit more front overhang and the proportions might have worked. It just doesn't seem to have the right elements of old and new to work.

It looks plain, and unfinished. It's like a plastic mold lol.

The front doesn't look good at all, too open. Can't say I'm a fan

...why are the rims on the left side different from the ones on the right side?

Grim joker - "strange-looking creature from the HD Wheels booth" = they're selling wheels, duh. Part S2k, part Aston Martin, part '65 coupe racecar.... MISS.

From the headlights forward, it looks unfinished and rushed. From the headlights back, I think it looks pretty good.

So close! But that front end is a bit too gaping for me

Some people just need to put the tools down and walk away from the car. A sloppy execution of a bad idea. They should have just left it alone. They made a nice sports car into a pile of junk.

Did they even have a target to hit?

reminds me more of an old jag than an aston. If the grill was straight and not quite as big I would like it.
