Shelby's Pocket Rockets
Redline Dodge is running a cool retrospective on the 2.2L compacts on which Carroll Shelby collaborated with Dodge in the 80s under Lee Iacocca. I've always wanted an Omni GLH, and I also kind of dig this Shelby Shadow (known as the CSX), which was mentioned in the article but not pictured. Interesting point: "Looking back, one could argue that Dodge and Shelby created the FWD Tuner market over two decades ago." Read the rest here.

This is probably the most well-shot day at the strip I've ever seen, and the lineup is an eye-popping assortment of insanely badass tire-roasters. I only wish there was more pure engine sound and less buttrock. Feast your eyes below the jump!

Hi Karan, thanks a lot for writing about my "sick" :-) Video about the "Public Race Days" in Germany/Hockenheim. I think there should be no problem to upload the video without the buttrock music. ahhhh, the Hockenheim ring. great times there. couldnt make it this year but i will be there next year when we get our new charger. thanks for the post, great vid
