What better rolling stock to build a zombie fighter upon than a tough-as-nails Dodge 4x4? Add a quarter-inch steel body and full bulletproof glass and tires, and you're pretty much invincible to all imaginable postapocalyptic foes. The seller claims this armored relic was government-issue, but I've never seen its likeness and can't imagine what it would've been in service for. SWAT training maybe? Check out the listing on eBay.

Looks like a well placed rock could take out the cooling system.

When I was in the Air Force, I was stationed at F.E. Warren AFB in Cheyenne, Wy., in 1982-1983. We were in charge of policing the missile silos. I remember seeing a vehicle like this in the maintenance shop one time. It was for the MP's.

The biggest problem with any Dodge from that era is the engines. They just didn't have any power. I can't imagine trying to drive that thing which looks like it weighs double what my Dodge truck does, with the anemic 318 they had then. Even the 360 wasn't anything to write home about.
