I don't see hillbillies, I see bikers. The mistake he made was that it looks like he had his front tire on a main root which will act as a mini ramp in that situation. If you notice the 1st guy had no problem and never looked like it could be, also looks like the 1st guy had what looks like a more powerful bike than the one that had the tree flip.

Not to mention the guys behind him pushing on the back and making the front lift...

Idefix - Actually that wouldn't have effected anything since that bike that did the flip is a "hardtail" which means it's no rear suspension, the rear is a straight frame and not a swingarm.
