Shelby's Pocket Rockets
Redline Dodge is running a cool retrospective on the 2.2L compacts on which Carroll Shelby collaborated with Dodge in the 80s under Lee Iacocca. I've always wanted an Omni GLH, and I also kind of dig this Shelby Shadow (known as the CSX), which was mentioned in the article but not pictured. Interesting point: "Looking back, one could argue that Dodge and Shelby created the FWD Tuner market over two decades ago." Read the rest here.

On Sunday 61 year old legend Monster Tajima shattered the ten minute barrier at Pikes Peak in his 910 hp Suzuki SX4 Hill Climb Special. Be sure to watch the incredible GoPro video of his run after the jump. It's absolutely nuts. Via Speed

@tazgts... Ditto. I can't believe all the attention that goes to Nascar here. "Turn left, turn left, turn left, turn left, pit stop..." So fucking BORING. Rally, and Road Rally... now THAT is exciting. Unbelievable skill & focus... not to mention GIANT BRASS BALLS.
