GM has made the decision to bring back the iconic COPO program. For those unfamiliar with this program, COPO stands for central office production order, meaning that dealerships can custom order a car according to their wants/needs. Most of the time they were used for taxi, police or trucks. However some dealerships used it for Camaros, Corvettes or Chevelles to create high-powered street cars that are factory correct. Over the years the program died down. However GM is bringing it back for the Camaro. Just think, you could soon order a bare-bones camaro with a 427 capable of detroying any street car!

That's what I love about COPO, it can look bottom of the line but then be the best performance machine out there. If I could get a newer Camaro I would get it almost bottom of the line anyways but the most performance I could get. I don't give a shit about leather seats, a luxury interior, built-in GPS, bluetooth or any other BS like that. Now GM just needs the Yenko Camaro again and it will be all set lol.

A factory big block Camaro in V6 trim would be awesome!!

A hot-rod Camaro without all the high-end model bullshit! Win! I'd be like, give me the biggest you got, and gut the interior. F*ck door panels. Oh, and just a driver's seat.

Probably the best idea they have had in awhile.
