By: bbccaprice89 5/7/2011 11:48 AM do they realize that it would've grabbed better had they flipped their hitch? I use my bronco out at the orchard all the time, not too mention hauled motors with it, use it to pull a scrap trailer. you pop the top off of it and it's a pickup truck! |
By: Apex Elite 5/7/2011 1:03 PM The music and production somehow made this gay as hell |

By: tazgts 5/7/2011 6:52 PM Haha ^ Looks like the trees winning too! |
By: SouthernGuy8503 5/7/2011 8:51 PM Nice truck but if it was a "beast" it would have only taken 1 or 2 tries after chopping up the roots. |
By: Exodus_10 5/8/2011 1:39 AM Hey that's good thinkin', I mean the possibility of spending an hour or two with proper cheaper equipment versus possible expensive tranny and or other damage to a truck, yeah f- that nonsense right. |
By: NWSilverado 5/8/2011 8:52 AM Yeah, works wayyyy better when you chop most of the out going roots. I used a doubled up rope on a tree about that size with my half tonne 2WD Truck and had it out first try. Not sure why it took this guy so many times. When I did mine it actually drew out a few of the neighbors but, there wasn't much to see as it just slowly fell over and came out of the ground because I had most of the side roots removed, just the big Tap roots were left holding it in place... Sure fun to use your rig for Gardening!!!! |
By: Shmak1982 5/8/2011 9:16 AM That's not that impressive. It shouldn't have taken near that many tries since they dug around it and had the roots cut before tugging on it. With it already dug up I woulda hooked the old '87 to it and jerked the holy hell out of it. |
By: krush454 5/8/2011 9:44 AM Okay so youre "I work in an office so i need a truck to make myself feel like a man" truck that you bought and never once saw mud with pulled out a tree after 6 tries. I could have done it in one with my mazda because I've got a brain! listen to the commenters, chop the roots you idiot, and maybe try actually making use of your torque, not just the weight of your suburbia hell truck bouncing up and down |

By: bulldog_1995 5/8/2011 10:07 AM I've never used any of mine as a stump puller but when I was 10 or 11 my parents bought a new to us house. it came with a set of concrete steps in the yard that the nighbors put there when they replaced the steps on their mobile home. They were about 4' H x 4' W x7' L and solid not hollow. I dug a hole by hand big enough to bury it about 1' below the surface and my Dad used his 69 Chevy 1-ton 2wd to flip it into the hole (took about 8 trys but it finaly flipped in) the truck got revenge a few years later on that neighbor by taking out their garage when my Mom forgot to set the e-brake when she was unhooking our camper but thats anouther story lol |
By: SuperSilvi 5/8/2011 5:07 PM Hmmmmmm i had to pull up my grand mothers 35 year old tree because an ice strom we had during the winter had killed it and with my avalanche and it only took me 2 trys while in reverse, its two wheel drive and all while in the grass. But like some of these guys said you got to have the proper tools. lol |

By: DodgeAdict 5/9/2011 9:22 AM I remember when I was a kid, my dad yanked a 5 ft diameter willow tree out of our front yard with his 1963 Chevrolet C20 (350-headers-auto tranns-4:10-that sucker is LOUD) all of our neighbors came out to see what all the racket was about, and its one of my fondest childhood memories -- and BTW, the guy who edited this video is a dumbass |
By: gotgame912 5/9/2011 10:13 AM LMAO!!! i pulled a porch off a house my family was tearing down with my dad's 1982 Dodge Ram but it wasn't 4x4.(425 hp!) |
By: Reekesh 5/9/2011 11:52 AM Poor tree... N Poor truck.. :( |
By: 74Furyous 5/9/2011 4:01 PM If it's ever a question on Jeopardy a Chev Cavalier can hold 16 sods in the trunk. I'm just sayin'. |
By: Shmak1982 5/9/2011 5:59 PM Hell, I used my Isuzu to rip a tree out of our front yard roots and all (of course it wasn't as large as this tree, but it wasn't dead either) and last summer I used my '87 Dodge D100 slant 6 to rip the walls out from under the house me and my friend was tearing down cause we tore the back side apart by hand with hammers and crow bars and decided it was way too much work, so we ripped the front down with the Dodge. My wife tried to ride with me, but on the second pull I pulled the rear tires off the ground (with momentum, not because of a chain hooked 6 feet in the air like this one) so she decided to watch the rest from the sidelines. Lol. |

By: SuperSilvi 5/10/2011 4:50 PM LOL sounds like my ex girlfriend "you can die alone" |

By: teamgaijin 5/11/2011 3:40 AM is that the end music for terminator playing? |
By: Tiggie 5/11/2011 5:09 AM Who is the dude walking up to the truck while it's pulling? If that cable snapped, it could have killed him. |
By: davdoc0011 5/11/2011 5:50 AM Pretty Much a Bad ass |
By: ChrisInVT 5/11/2011 5:54 AM I was hoping to see the ball on the hitch snap off, and have the chain take out the idiot with the cell phone by the back of the truck. |
By: got_wheels 5/11/2011 5:57 AM this is why rednecks should be the only ones with bad ass trucks. at least we know how to pull a tree out right the first time. |
By: Randall88W-100 5/11/2011 6:20 AM i suppose it goes to show what people with more money than brains can accomplish. but it does show what quality ram builds their trucks to. |

By: TheFSMan 5/11/2011 11:57 AM "Beast" Oh My I'm Just Laughing. The Neon Parked On The Left Would Of Did A Better Job, Is That A Dodge Ram Body With A Honda Passport Frame? Maybe A Tundra Or Frontier Would Have done Better But If You Really Want To Get The Job Done Just Use A Man's Truck! F-SERIES SUPER DUTY Damn Right American... Oh And Give That Ram To Some Soccer Mom It Has More Purpose For Her. |
By: chevydog66 5/11/2011 5:46 PM If you would have turned the truck around and pulled from the front you would have had better luck. More weight on the front. |
By: accental 5/11/2011 8:07 PM just as chevydog66 said. Anyone that has any idea on pulling knows what them two tow hooks on the front are for. I have watched many of morons try to pull with the rear. If he would have hooked it to the front in the first place there would have been only one try. Good for a laugh though. |
By: RawZen 5/11/2011 9:24 PM More weight on the front and reverse is generally lower geared then forward so the truck would have had more leverage because of gearing. |
By: Comrick317 5/11/2011 10:03 PM That was fun to watch, now how's that tranny. :) |
By: facefromdriven 5/11/2011 10:43 PM Yeah chop the roots first! I pulled out a stump that was shorter than that but the same thickness in 2 tries with a Ford heavy half (1/2 ton on a 3/4 ton frame) and I definitely didn't lift the rear wheels or I wouldn't have had traction since it was 2WD... |
By: te72_for_now 5/12/2011 6:25 PM You ever notice why you've never met an OLD redneck? This is why. Just goes to show ya that power means nothing without control and the understanding of how to utilize it... |
By: SuperSilvi 5/12/2011 6:57 PM LOL an old redneck lmao |
By: MidnightBlueNeon 5/13/2011 12:46 PM Thanks for having the music and sound so low that when you whistled, you blew my ears out. |
By: GrandPrixGT20s 5/16/2011 7:58 AM i would call you a dumb redneck, but even a dumb redneck knows you hook the chain around the bottom |
By: vielecustoms 6/6/2011 7:39 AM surprised the homeowner across the street didn't have the cops there to ticket the dumb ass before he ended up plowing in the their house when something broke. |
