Luis Nieves has created an absolutely stunning digital rendering of the legendary GT40 in Gulf livery. I grabbed some of the pics but be sure to check out his website to get a sense for the process involved in producing this amazing work of art (and to get some great images for your desktop). I wonder what program was used. I know solidworks makes nice renders, but I've never seen animated ones with it.

Not only talented but patient! I tried to do a model clay once before and I never will I think, too much for me. I'll stick to vectors for now.

Nes doesn't know what solidworks is. He makes clay models, and sits on cardomain all day.

/\/\Mefast Autodesk Maya was used to do the actual model itself. Metal ray,Adolbe photoshop and Aftereffects were used to do the reflection and the paint on the vehicle and placing it within the pictures. I use Autodesk 3DS Max to do my renderings of 3d models not only is it labor intensive but costly. 3DS max cost me 4,209 dollars and i have to renew my copy when they make a new version which is about a grand.
