I've had my fair share of tires. ATs to MTs. I've been a big BFGoodrich fan for many years. When it came time to get tires on my 2008 Dodge Ram 2500, E rated tires were something I wanted.

Nitto Trail Grappler M/Ts fit the task at hand. While I like tread pattern, the dual sidewalls was something I wasn't aware about till AFTER I had them installed. I may have selected to use the other side of the tire.

I must say, these are my first set of Nitto tires. I am pretty impressed with these. I've had them in the rain, snow, mud and sand and have never been at a loss for the traction, control and handling I've needed. These tires do not let up. Lowering the air pressure in the sand, and these tires will get you through it. When these tires were new and the sand was soft in spots, if you're not careful you can find yourself digging in.

The weight of the Cummins Turbo Diesel and the E rated tires are a great match. If you're looking for an aggressive tire that is still E rated, Nitto is the way to go!

They are somewhat loud on the highway, but I like the hum. You can feel the tires at low speeds, like under 5mph. They get attention!
