Dodge CEO Ralph Gilles sure does love him some Mopar-powered burnouts: when I first met him on One Lap of America, they seemed like the only thing he ever wanted to do with that white Vanishing Point Challenger of his. So it's kind of fitting that now he's instructing Leno on how to pull off a perfect roast. He also gives a lot of pretty interesting background on the Charger redesign, and even hints that they're "considering" putting a manual in it! Oh God stop teasing us!! Video below the jump, via Jay Leno's Garage.

How about instead of traction control on new factory hot rods you get a line lock instead for wicked burnouts without riding the brake!

Sure beats some old CEO in a suit spouting off brochure specs. He enjoys his job and it shows. And Leno, for those of us whose car fills many roles rather than a car for every purpose, I like heated and cooled cup holders.

C'mon it's the CEO of Dodge, the preferred brand of rednecks everywhere (ie. look no further than the General Lee). He might as well be President of the Redneck Nation. I like a CEO who can lay down some rubber...

Ralph Gilles f*ckin rules, as a hardcore Mopar guy all my life (and seeing Chrysler/Dodge/Plymouth[RIP]/Jeep through their darkest days) It gives me a smile ear to ear to see an enthusiest take over Dodge and bring the innovatoin and spirit back to the legandary Marque, ALL HAIL THE MASTERS!! Give it up for Ralph Gilles and Jay Leno!!
