New In the CarDomain Garage: 2011 Kia Sportage

According to The Detroit Free Press, manufacturers are looking forward to ditching CD players since they are heavy and take up so much valuable real estate. I still have tape decks in two cars of my three cars. My 2007 Mustang GT has a CD changer, but I prefer to just plug my phone into the aux and stream Pandora or Spotify. How about you?

New In the CarDomain Garage: 2011 Kia Sportage

The last time we had one of these jellybean SUV's, Rob just about had to force me to drive it. I felt so uncool! The Sportage, however, isn't half as bad as I dreaded it would be. It's not a blimp, for one thing. And the orange doesn't hurt. Still, this isn't the kind of vehicle I'd typically drive, and I've generally had a hard time wrapping my head around the whole "crossover" thing, especially when I'm not entirely convinced that crossover-specific features are truly functional. But I'm sure that in the course of a whole week I'll discover some good things about the little Kia. Stay tuned for the full review next week!

	By: Medazzone 3/11/2011 4:31 PM You may feel uncool in it yet I think it's one of the best styled compact CUV's on the market right now and if you get the turbo it's almost a hot hatch. Think Golf Country meets GTI meets great warranty with a very functional economic package. P.S. I just compared a Golf Country and GTI to a Kia, let the flame war begin.
