Got 90 minutes to spare? Then sit back and watch this amazing rally documentary by Helmut Deimel called Evolution of the Drifting Angle. It spans 50 years of rally action and development, from old school Swedes like Erik Carlsson to modern day heros like Colin McRae. Definitely worth checking out if you like seeing cars go fast in the dirt! Video after the jump!

I still don't see why F1 is more popular than rally. This is badass.

Very interesting, I just wish they talked about Carlos Sainz and the Celica GT-Four a little more as it heavily influenced the WRXs and Evos you see today.

This was a great film, I watched it with my roommate and all he could say was "I want modern stuff!" but I loved getting a taste of the history behind rallying. This is a must see for any rally enthusiast, thank you for posting this. I feel like I learned a ton after seeing this!
