Ah, the joys of the secondhand store! I was checking out the local consignment shop for tools (grabbed an awesome offset 10/11mm box, combo 30mm, and a small adjustable pliers, all for €6!), and found this Nintendo DS Driving School quiz game. The driving test in Germany is hundreds of questions about minute details, so I'm not entirely surprised there is a market for training games, but it was still a wow moment. Of course I grabbed it: it was only €9.50. I've got a few long flights coming up, so I think I'll swipe a DS from one of my sons and log some reading time. Yup, there's not a single inch of road in the whole game: just nearly 200 road signs and about a million rules to learn. Fun!
