What was supposed to be a day of infamy turned into a hellish nightmare for this burnout contestant as he sat and watched his beloved classic 'Vette burn. Moment of silence, please.   See more vehicle fires at Tampa Sports Car Examiner.

Poor car, I honestly don't feel bad for the owner though, anyone who cares about their car doesn't do 3 minute long burn outs in it... Like that guy who's tire exploded and ripped through his trunk... If he cared about his camaro he wouldn't have abused it like that. Same for this guy and his vet.

What kind of fuel was the car running on? And I'm no firefighter but I think the firefighter should've used a wider spray instead.

its not the fact that they needed a wider spray, plain water wont put out a gas fire they should have used foam mixed with water and it would have put the fire right out.

Burnout in the 3rd degree I'd say. Looks like a fuel line busted and the water just spread the fuel almost to the tree line, could have been a worse day.
