I remember doodling Ferrari F40s in my notebooks in elementary school. When I was little I just thought it was the coolest, most mind-blowingly futuristic thing I'd ever seen, though now it kind of looks like something made of lego. The F40 still cleans up pretty nice though, so when I saw these pics posted by NorthWest Auto Salon of this one they had in the shop for detailing recently, I totally got that thrill of nostalgia remembering how hard my clumsy kid hands worked to get those headlights just right. Is there any car that does this for you? That brings you back to some specific time frame in the murky past? Let's hear about it.

Renault 5 from back when I was in France and my cousins we're sporting them. High end, I was in the Countach's camp. Could never draw them correctly though.

Lamborghini Countach. It was everyone's dream car growing up in the 80s.

Dodge Stealth RT intercooled twin turbo. 320 hp seems kinda lame these days... but it was unheard of for most cars back then. Pontiac Fiero was a futuristic car when it debuted too.

First gen chevy cavaliers, box caprices, and '86 escort GTs. Every time I see one of those (damn, they're rare nowadays) I call my mom and ask "Remember your pink GT with purple rims?" She was a ricer, BEFORE IT WAS COOL.

Sadly its my 240SX. I remember finding the Silvia version from japan and literally doing exactly what Jen did, except I could never get the headlights right lol. So yes for me its the 89-94 240SX more accordingly the Silvia.

I remember being about 6 when the Viper first came out, that was the car that got me into cars! I remember sketching the Viper many times and I owned a few scaled models as well. Still and always will be a favorite!

I always "wondered" what does it takes from a stong company to "risk" their entire personality, bringing such a strong design as this Magnificent F-40, after watching a car like this for the first time you wonder is there any more to come? but Piano man from Billy.. suddenly was loved by everyone, and Edsels where hated by everybody.. and so and so.. loved and hated.. with what kind of ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿!!!!!!??????? does something becomes liked and some hated.. i... I always "wondered" I wish i Knew.. Wouldn´t anybody?
