I remember doodling Ferrari F40s in my notebooks in elementary school. When I was little I just thought it was the coolest, most mind-blowingly futuristic thing I'd ever seen, though now it kind of looks like something made of lego. The F40 still cleans up pretty nice though, so when I saw these pics posted by NorthWest Auto Salon of this one they had in the shop for detailing recently, I totally got that thrill of nostalgia remembering how hard my clumsy kid hands worked to get those headlights just right. Is there any car that does this for you? That brings you back to some specific time frame in the murky past? Let's hear about it.

By: retroman 12/10/2010 2:35 PM Dodge Stealth RT intercooled twin turbo. 320 hp seems kinda lame these days... but it was unheard of for most cars back then. Pontiac Fiero was a futuristic car when it debuted too. |

|
By: betitotheone 12/11/2010 7:09 PM I always "wondered" what does it takes from a stong company to "risk" their entire personality, bringing such a strong design as this Magnificent F-40, after watching a car like this for the first time you wonder is there any more to come? but Piano man from Billy.. suddenly was loved by everyone, and Edsels where hated by everybody.. and so and so.. loved and hated.. with what kind of ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿!!!!!!??????? does something becomes liked and some hated.. i... I always "wondered" I wish i Knew.. Wouldn´t anybody? |
