How the f?!!!! How was he allowed to do that without inspecting something that basic? How can he drive with all those bumps and no seatbelt? Why would you not wear it? Ah so many questions!

Actually to the people talking about him not wearing a seatbelt, look at the video again. See how he was completely under the muddy water for a few seconds? Imagine trying to mess with a seat belt especially if it's not unlatching. If you can't get it unlatched in time then you drawn. Being unbelted let him escape in time and at least quicker.

SouthernGuy--he almost got crushed by his truck! Not a whole lot of water came into the cab. He could have drowned by being pinned under his truck in the shallow water.

Well is not like he was in 5 feet of water. Someone could easily brake the windshield to help him. And he should've upgraded the seatbelt to a 4 point harness where is way easier to take off than a conventional seatbelt, he got lucky this time for not wearing one that's all.

Ya wasn't that deep at that spot but there's pretty deep spots at mud bogs like this. Plus I don't think kicking in a windshield is the best thing to do, flying glass. I know that's better than dying but being unbelted allowed him and other people to help him quicker. He also didn't get crushed, his whole body was still in that window opening area. Also if you look his body was under the water, doesn't matter how deep the water is, if you're head is under water then you can't get air.

loosen your shoulder harness (assuming is that style of seatbelt) and grab your legs to keep your head above water and wait 'til they either get you out or flip the truck. And yes I'll rather be recuperating from glass in my body than sitting cool at a morgue.

My first point is that what if you can't get your belt unhooked? Doesn't take to long to drown, imagine how long it would have taken the people to get to him. But I know I'm wrong so he just didn't put a seatbelt on.

He should have been strapped in, or at least better strapped in. Keeping his body toward the middle of the cab when he felt it was flipping would have been best, so he could exit from whatever side was open. Seems like he had a nice rig, but was wet behind the ears. Sure as hell was, literally, after that.

No, I don't care to be the #1 commenter on here. If that was the case I'd leave short comments on every single blog that wouldn't even be a full line long but I post on maybe 1/2 (if that) of the blogs and most are a decent length if not long as hell. It's been over 300 blogs and I just got over 200, if you remember on the old blog I'd have multiple post on some blogs. Plus "nes" is only 30 post behind me which if I stopped commenting for 1-2 days he'd pass me. And by the way again I couldn't have been more calm, if I was mad I would cuss every other word lol.
