I know that to but the 350Z did get a good launch, just looked to me that the 350Z missed a shift or like "cknarf" said granny shifted. Can also see the 350Z not having much problem catching up, maybe that was just the camera view because it's hard to tell how close it was towards the end. But I guess that proves my point that the only way a company can make a 4 or 6 cylinder fast as hell (at least for a 4 or 6 cylinder) straight from the factory is to give it AWD. You take these same cars that come out in FWD and AWD, the FWD versions are slow as hell.

Their are many GSTs and TSis running under 10 second quarters. The fastest TSi that I know of ran a 7.70 quarter. Lucas English's wife ran a 10 second quarter with a stock frame turbo and an auto trans.
