Found this one at a local show in Maryland, not sure what it is but i do know what it has. Two V6's slammed together to make a redneck V12, a lot of custom fabrication, and even more time put in to make this custom V12 truck. Can anyone identify the parts and pieces? More pics below the jump.

From now on when they ask me why I prefer older cars I will bust out this picture out of my wallet and not say a thing.

I shot this at the Gearhead Get-Together at Thompson Machine in September. The cab is from a '46 Chevy COE 2-1/2 ton work truck and the engine is a 702-ci GMC Twin-Six. The four heads make it look like two V-6es hooked together, but it's actually a single twelve-cylinder block. They were made for heavy trucks for many years. According to an ad I found while researching the engine, they made their peak horsepower and torque at only 2500 rpm!

I would drive that everyday. This makes me really want to do a mid-engine big block conversion to my Courier...

Oh hell... mate a couple Viper engines and go for an even 20. If you're gonna go insane you might as well be committed.

That's genius. One thing, is the radiator still at front? I really love the metal work. IronMan!

Ahh The hot rod. Goen back to the 30's. Later they designed V12's with two V6 supercharges, operating with dual ignition. Interesting to see they've choped the front

I actually got to see one of these V12's in person once at the USA6x6 shop in Lawton, OK. Now that the shop has closed down, I find myself often wondering what happened to that cool old industrial engine.
