It seems that Dubai may have two new additions to their enviable police vehicles, including a Bugatti Veyron. The image below shows what the Veyron may look like if added. The Dubai Police Force already has a Lamborghini Aventador, Ferrari FF, Chevrolet Camaro, Aston Martin One 77, Bentley Continental GT, and Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG on top of their standard Dodge Charger police cars. Via MotorTrend.

If it were your decision, what car would you add to their growing fleet?

Anyone who knows anything about cars in Australia know that Holden have been a long time player in the Aussie market. Over the years, they have produced some classic cars. Despite things being as hard as they are in the current economic climate, they are still throwing all they have into producing quality products. Nothing demonstrates this more than the forthcoming release of the HSV Gen F range. HSV is the performance arm of Holden and have given it everything they have got. Apparently this is the most powerful car in Australia. Check out this video for a taste of what is coming.

If you are a bit of a practical joker like I am, you will probably like this idea. Nathan at Hahabird has come up with the screwdriver key. Now you can tell all your friends you had to hot wire your car... although it probably wont be that good when the police pull you over. If you want to make one get the details here. Thanks to Claudia for sending me this one.

If history has taught us one thing, it is that we have probably ignored some recently released cars that will be future classics. Imagine it is 1960s: You are fully loaded with cash and ready to buy yourself a new toy. Would it be a Ferrari, or perhaps something British like an Aston Martin? Well, if you had really wanted something different, you could have bought yourself a Toyota 2000GT. Despite being an outstanding car, the 2000GT never had the wide spread appeal that some other cars had. Only 62 were sent to the US. However, they have certainly become classics. Have a look at this lovely example. It sold recently for US$1.5 Million! Get the full story at the Age.

It is no secret that China is an economic power house. The Chinese people have plenty of disposable income and are buying more cars than ever. This explains why so many car makers are keen to get into the Chinese market. Detroit electric is no different and have joined with Geely to release an electric car there next year. This is a joint venture and should produce some interesting results. Get the full story at Gizmag.

The winner of this week's caption contest is 74Furyous with his entry of:

"On this week's episode of Top Gear USA, the boys are each given $1500 to buy a car and use it to transport a week's work of hate mail from Las Vegas to El Paso."

Check back tomorrow for the next Caption Contest photo!

Well, this is just awkward. What are some of the most unusual mods you’ve ever seen on a car?

If you have sold a few cars like I have, you will know that sometimes the hardest part is making your car stand out from the crowd. Well I think we could all learn a thing or two from the seller of this Brumby. The ad grabs your attention by talking about outstanding items, like the 2 thrones that are upholstered with Albino Panda fur. He has done such a good job that this has gone viral.

If you haven't seen it, check it out on gumtree.

I am guessing that most people that visit this site have done a burnout at some stage. However like any 'sport' you can always learn something from the pros. Check out the video after the jump to see how it's really done. Thanks to NineMSN & Street Machine
